This notice explains how fmartin.ch handles visitor data.

## Analytics and diagnostics

This website uses PostHog only to troubleshoot technical problems and make the site easier to use. It records page visits, navigation, section views, and application errors for these purposes. This information is not used to build visitor profiles or track people across websites. Analytics respect your browser's Do Not Track setting and do not store analytics data persistently in your browser. Session recordings show how visitors interact with page elements to help investigate problems. They exclude map imagery and other canvas content. Vercel Speed Insights reports aggregate web performance measurements.

## Browser storage and external services

The theme control stores your selected light or dark theme in local browser storage. The site uses temporary browser storage to remember your scroll position. The events map requests styles and map tiles from CARTO. Images, recordings, source links, publications, and profile links lead to third-party sites such as YouTube, GitHub, LinkedIn, Sessionize, and conference websites. Those services receive normal request information when you load or follow their resources and apply their own privacy terms.

## Contact and retention

The contact button opens your email application, so your chosen email provider handles the message. Do not include secrets or unnecessary personal data in an inquiry.
